We oppose any attempt to relocate, harrass or evict the Sears Lane Community.
We in the Peace and Justice Party are appalled by the efforts of the neo-liberal mayor of
Burlington to evict the Sears Lane Community. The city has made numerous attempts to remove the community. These tactics have included but are not limited to constant police surveillance, offers of insufficient housing, and legal eviction proceedings.
We demand an immediate halt to the harrassment and evictions of this community. We demand also that the city provide normal services to the community.
