The Green Mountain Peace and Justice Party supports an immediate cease fire in Gaza and opposes US military aid to Israel. We would make any form of financial aid to Israel contingent on the Israeli government entering into good faith negotiations for a just and lasting peace. Peace would require ceasing aggression and all motions towards genocide, ending apartheid, and supporting full human rights for all people in Israel/Palestine.
We are greatly concerned that no debate about aid to Israel is being allowed in the US State Department and see this as a significant step toward totalitarianism in the US government.
