When we, the people, work together for the common good we are a force to be reckoned with. Our creativity is unstoppable. We can reverse the trends that are causing so many of us to struggle to survive, as a few people hoard the wealth of the world, use other people, and plunder the environment. It is time for government to stop listening to corporations and big money and start listening to the rest of us.
We all need food, housing, health care, to be cared for when we are unable to care for ourselves, education and the ability to make a meaningful contribution to our world. We all need time to enjoy our lives and discover our talents. People are not commodities to be used for other people’s profit then thrown away.
